The start of the academic year at Summit is always a time of renewed energy and excitement, but this fall, there’s an extra buzz in the air. As we welcomed the largest incoming freshman class in our history, the arrival day for the Class of '25 and '26 was one for the books!
There was a lot of enthusiasm as new and returning students began arriving on campus, carrying suitcases and boxes to their dorms to unpack. You could hear music playing and laughter as students and loved ones mingled around campus. There were lots of smiles (and sometimes a few tears) as loved ones helped their students settle into their new campus home. A few of our returning students jumped out of their cars as soon as they arrived, running immediately to greet friends they haven't seen all summer! After months apart, seeing the joy on their faces made the day even more special.
The start of the fall semester is off to a great start - worship nights and chapels have already become a highlight! Students are settling in, starting classes, and diving into scripture and their coursework. The energy of Arrival Day was just the beginning. As the Class of '25 and '26 begin their Summit experience, we are confident that their time here will be filled with lifelong friendships and deep spiritual growth. Welcome to a new chapter Summit family, here's to a fantastic year ahead!
