A few days ago, cars were pulling onto campus, suitcases were being carried into dorms, families were saying goodbye, and students from across the country and around the world were stepping into a season they had spent months preparing for. For some, it was their first time calling Summit home. For returning students, it was the beginning of another year in a place they already knew well. Either way: the school year had begun!

Each summer, the sound of Summit’s campus changes. Classroom conversations and chapel services give way to the laughter of children, the splash of the pool, games in the field, and counselors walking from one activity to the next with campers close behind. For several weeks, the 100-acre campus becomes home to SKY Summer Camp, a day camp serving children and families from Hershey, Harrisburg, and surrounding communities.
