Summit students had the opportunity to attend the World Challenge Fire in Our Bones Conference, hosted by our very own Times Square Church in NYC. Students gathered at Times Square Church at 9 AM, excited for the first session of the day. Pastor Gary Wilkerson set the tone with a warm welcome, addressing our Bible school students and Dr. Conlon with heartfelt enthusiasm. Pastor Gary has been a lifelong friend to Summit, and it was wonderful to hear him affirm each student's calling, reminding them that God is always by their side, encouraging and empowering them in whatever God has called them to.
The day continued to unfold with powerful messages from leaders like TSC's Senior Pastor Tim Dilena, Pastor Daryl Black, Pastor John Bailey, and our General Overseer, Pastor Carter Conlon. We were touched and encouraged as each speaker opened the scripture and imparted wisdom and direction from the Holy Spirit. Our students left feeling fueled with a deeper understanding of their journey and the calling Christ has on their lives.
Following the day's sessions, our students had the chance to connect with alumni who were also in attendance, reconnecting and sharing their stories and testimonies. Many of our students made a beeline over to the Summit table in the lobby, engaging with attendees from all over the world and excitedly sharing with others why Summit has been a transformative place for them.
By the end of the day, it was clear that this experience left a lasting impact. Our students couldn't stop expressing how blessed they felt, with many sharing how God spoke to them through the messages and interactions. The day was a beautiful blend of fellowship, inspiration, and personal growth—a truly memorable experience for our Summit family.
We’re so proud of our students and the way they embrace their genuine love for God and others. They made their way back to campus with spiritual cups filled, hearts opened, and spirits lifted. We can’t wait to see how God will continue to work in and through them in the days to come!
