Merry Christmas from Dr. Conlon

Dear Friend of Summit,

This Christmas season, there is much to be grateful for!

During the 2021-22 school year, over $350,000 has been distributed in scholarship funding, allowing 78 students the opportunity to attend Summit. The return on this most precious investment has been monumental. The Summit classes of 2022 and 2023 are unlike any other. They have a clear understanding that they are a generation that will face many storms; yet, in the midst of it all, they are thriving, learning to live for the benefit of others, and choosing joy.

This fall, Summit successfully launched a High School Gap Year program, giving recent high school graduates 8 months to learn how to defend their faith in a secular college environment. Our Sabbatical program, for adult learners and career professionals, continues to grow and has transformed the landscape of our campus in so many wonderful ways.

In early 2022, Summit will be releasing our first series of Online Enrichment Courses. A brand-new venture for Summit, our hope is to provide avenues for spiritual growth to those who may not be able to attend Bible school in person. We are thrilled to be able to provide this opportunity and can’t wait to see how the Lord uses these online courses.

And so, with all that is happening, it is with grateful and full hearts we enter a new year and a new season. With COVID-19, political uncertainty, and a growing hostility toward a Christian worldview, we know the challenges are not over. However, there is something to be said for choosing to minister life while facing tough circumstances. Jesus chose a hard, cold, rejecting place to make His entrance in this world. Yet He transformed that cave into a place of life and peace and joy. Angels filled the sky at His appearing and sang “Peace on earth goodwill towards men”. Let us remember that Jesus transforms every place He is invited into - starting with our own hearts.

Thank you for walking alongside Summit on this incredible journey. Your prayers, financial support, and words of encouragement are making a bigger impact than you know. May this be one of your most treasured Christmas seasons ever.

We, your Summit family, send you our love and warmest wishes.
