Academics

Summit's unique two-year experience blends spiritual formation, classroom learning, and hands-on ministry training. Our classes teach you to think biblically and understand the reasons for what you believe. Hands-on ministry training gives you the practical tools to make a difference in whatever vocation you feel called to.

Your Summit Journey

Year One

These foundational 8-months consist of two semesters of instruction and ministry experience. Each semester's curriculum is tailored toward building a strong spiritual foundation in Biblical truth and identity in Christ. Students engage in classes, chapels, student events, ministry outings, and electives, learning and putting into practice what they learn while building lifelong friendships.

Students who decide to graduate after 8 months will receive a certificate of completion in Biblical Foundations, receiving 30 transferable credits throughout their two semesters.

Post-Grad Internship

Summit’s post-graduate internships provide students with hands-on ministry experience, helping them bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world application. During their final semester, students connect with trusted ministry partners offering opportunities in church leadership, missions, outreach, and more. These internships allow graduates to develop their skills, grow in their calling, and build valuable relationships that often lead to long-term ministry roles or career opportunities.

Sabbatical Program
Summit Sabbatical is an 8-month individualized Summit experience, tailored to a select number of adult learners who choose to take this season to engage their minds, skills, and energy toward God’s purpose in their lives. The Sabbatical experience is a time of growth, clarity, and transformation. Auditing classes, one-on-one connections, group discussions, study, reflection, and times of prayer give sabbatical students the knowledge base and tools to be effective wherever Christ may lead.
